Meet Kirsty — Emotional Eating Specialist
I’m a certified Emotional Eating & Binge Eating Disorder Specialist, life coach, and NLP practitioner. This isn’t just something I’ve studied… it’s something I’ve lived.
For years, I felt stuck in a cycle of restricting and overeating. I would try to be “good” during the day, then losing control at night. I became a certified personal trainer and immersed myself in health and fitness, believing that if I just knew enough, I’d finally feel in control.
But behind the scenes, I was still struggling with eating in secret, feeling ashamed, and repeating the same patterns over and over.
Everything changed when I stopped focusing on what I was eating… and started understanding why.
That led me to study psychology, counselling approaches, coaching certifications and specialising in emotional eating and binge eating recovery, including support for clients using GLP-1 medications.
Today, I help people stop emotional eating and rebuild trust with food using my signature 4 N framework — a psychology-informed method that blends Nature, Nurture, Neural Wiring, and Nutrition to create lasting change.
My approach is psychology-informed to help you feel calm around food, and back in control, so you can finally experience lasting freedom without dieting.

What Clients Experience Inside Nourish to Thrive™
Maria
I had always struggled with eating well and felt stuck in cycles that never lasted. I didn’t realise that the binge–restrict pattern I was in was actually part of the problem — especially because I didn’t fit the stereotype of someone who “had an issue” with food.
What stood out immediately was how different this approach was from anything I’d tried before. For the first time, I understood that my relationship with food needed support — not stricter rules.
Letting go of dieting felt incredibly freeing. I’m now much more compassionate with myself, I no longer turn to food for comfort in the same way, and I understand cravings as signals rather than something to fight.

I had so many lightbulb moments during the program. I’d often feel in control with food for a while, but eventually my nighttime comfort eating would return and I’d end up feeling frustrated and disappointed with myself.
Through Nourish to Thrive™, I began to see the deeper connections behind my emotional eating. Suddenly, everything made sense. I no longer feel like I’m fighting food.
When cravings come up now, I’m able to recognise where they’re actually coming from. I trust that if I do overeat, I can return to balance without restricting or spiralling. Letting go of guilt and shame around food has been incredibly freeing.

Before joining the program, I was quite mindless when it came to food. I’d tried different approaches — weight-focused programmes, personal training, and nutrition plans — and while some were helpful in certain ways, none addressed the bigger picture.
Working with Kirsty helped me understand the relationship between food, nutrition, and my emotional state. I began to see patterns I hadn’t noticed before and learned how to respond to them differently.
I no longer swing between extreme hunger and feeling overly full, and that shift has had a real impact on how I feel emotionally. I’m much more balanced now — calmer, steadier, and more in tune with myself.
