🌿GLP-1 Support With Nourish to Thrive™

Build real food freedom, protect your muscle & metabolism, and prevent rebound weight gain — on and off medication.

If you’re using GLP-1 medication (or thinking about it), there’s one question you need to ask yourself:

“What’s my long-term plan for my relationship with food?”

Because GLP-1s can reduce appetite —
but they don’t heal emotional eating, food noise, cravings, stress eating, or the habits that have been shaping your eating for years.

And when appetite returns?
That’s when rebound weight gain happens.

Not because you failed.
But because medication doesn’t change the emotional, behavioural, or psychological patterns underneath.

That’s the part I can help you with.

There’s a lot of stigma around GLP-1s. Let me be clear: I don’t judge anyone for taking them.

Some people shame it and call it “the easy way.”
Others prescribe it to anyone without considering whether it’s appropriate or how to support them long-term.

Here’s the truth:

If GLP-1s were available back when I was deep in emotional eating and binge eating,
I would have taken them too.

I took illegal fat burners.
I bought diet pills.
I believed gastric bypass might be my only option to stop overeating.

I understand the desperation to feel in control around food.
I understand wanting anything that could help you feel at peace in your body.

So there is zero judgement here — only informed, compassionate support.

But here’s what I’ve learned as a GLP-1–trained emotional eating specialist: There are two types of GLP-1 users.

⚠️ Those who eat less but don’t change their relationship with food

This person loses weight because appetite is lower — but their patterns around food stay the same.

When appetite returns, so do the challenges:

  • emotional eating resurfaces

  • old habits take over

  • cravings feel stronger

  • hunger feels unsettling

  • guilt returns quickly

And without new tools, the weight often rebounds — not because they failed, but because GLP-1s only change appetite, not the emotional, behavioural, or psychological drivers underneath.

This creates a cycle where the medication feels like the only solution.

✔️ Those who use the medication and change their habits

These people use the appetite reduction as a boost — a window of breathing room that helps them finally make meaningful lifestyle changes.

With improved energy and reduced food noise, they begin to:

  • move their body more

  • eat more nourishing, balanced meals

  • build emotional coping skills

  • create simple, sustainable routines

  • reconnect with their body’s signals

Because they address the root causes alongside the medication, these people create results that feel steady, confident, and long-term.

The part no one tells you about: the real risks.

I am trained to support people with their eating while they’re on GLP-1 medication. I’m not a nurse or nutritionist — my work is rooted in psychology and coaching as an emotional eating and binge eating disorder specialist, combined with my background as a health and fitness professional — but I understand:

  • how GLP-1s impact appetite and metabolism
  • how muscle loss occurs
  • how to support safe, balanced nourishment
  • what emotional patterns are likely to resurface
  • why rebound weight gain is common
  • how to support people tapering off safely
  • how to rebuild trust with hunger cues

And here’s what people are not being told clearly enough:

What happens when appetite returns —
and you haven’t done the deeper work to change your relationship with food?

When you stop GLP-1s — or even reduce the dose — hunger signals eventually return.

But now you’re at a disadvantage because you likely have:

  • a smaller body (which naturally requires less fuel to maintain — just like a smaller engine needs less fuel)

  • less muscle

  • a slower metabolism

  • stronger hunger signals

This combination makes maintaining weight much harder — which is why rebound weight gain is so common.

You deserve more than appetite suppression.

You deserve long-term, sustainable transformation.

Here’s what you actually want:

  • To feel in control around food

  • To stop emotional eating

  • To trust your hunger cues again

  • To protect your muscle and metabolism

  • To keep your results long after medication

  • To feel strong, confident, and nourished

  • To build habits you don’t rebound from

  • To heal your relationship with food and your body
